Your Step-By-Step Guide

From arranging your eye test to picking out stylish new frames, here we offer a quick and easy overview of what you need to do and what to expect!

1. Book Your Eye Test

To make an appointment for an adult eye examination and/or children’s eye test, please book online, arrange by telephone call, or pop into your local 4SIGHT branch.

2. Welcome!

Please arrive promptly for your appointment and check-in with a member of staff. Also remember to bring your latest pair of prescription glasses or contact lenses.

3. Pre-Screening

Initial screening allows us to take an estimate of your prescription, check the pressure in your eyes and asses your field of view. A digital photograph of your eyes may also be taken.

4. Eye Examination

Your optometrist will ask about your general health then perform tests to assess your standard of vision, the condition of your eyes, and how well they work together.

5. Help & Guidance

At the end of your vision test your optometrist will offer an overview of your results, explain any changes to your prescription and discuss potential issues and how to address them.

6. Choosing Frames

If your optometrist has advised a significant change in your prescription, our team will be on hand to help you choose from our range of frames and contact lenses.
